What is Minimal Gear?
Minimal Gear is the company behind Cnoc Outdoors and Diorite Gear. Think of Minimal Gear as a small team of gearheads - sometimes we're wearing the Diorite Gear hat and sometimes we're wearing the Cnoc Outdoors hat, but it's always the same team.
How do Diorite Gear and Cnoc Outdoors fit in with Minimal Gear?
Both are brands created and operated by the Minimal Gear team. Cnoc Outdoors is a hydration brand best known for the Vecto. Diorite Gear features our made in Portland trekking poles.
Why did you decide to start multiple brands?
Launching multiple brands allowed us to allocate resources more thoughtfully as we continued to grow as a (still small) company. It also allows us to maintain an inventor-first mindset - giving us the freedom to explore creating the products we want to make without being limited by the product range we currently offer.
Who ships my order?
Your order will be shipped to you by Minimal Gear, regardless of whether you placed it with Diorite or Cnoc. All orders are shipped from our Portland, OR warehouse/workshop/office. Shipping and return information is the same across all Minimal Gear brands.
How do I reach one of the brands for support with a product?
All tickets should be filed to the Minimal Gear support portal - they will reach someone who can help you!
